Dioralyte Sachets are a fast-acting oral rehydration therapy that helps to replace lost fluids and electrolytes in the body. It is used to treat dehydration caused by diarrhoea, vomiting, or excessive sweating.
It contains glucose and salts (these are sodium chloride, potassium chloride and disodium hydrogen citrate). The powder is mixed with water before taking.
Dioralyte Sachets should not be used by people with kidney problems or severe dehydration. If you have any of these conditions, talk to your doctor before using Dioralyte Sachets.
To use Dioralyte Sachets, simply dissolve the contents of one sachet in 200ml of drinking water. The solution should be made up immediately before use and may be stored for up to 24 hours in a refrigerator. Dioralyte Sachets can be taken by adults and children of all ages.
